The new Kingdom of Jerusalem is a historical and ceremonial microstate project – an attempt to revive the legacy of the medieval Kingdom of Jerusalem in a new form, adapted to the modern world. It does not seek territory or political power, but builds a kingdom based on history, imagination, symbols and shared experience.
In the project, the past does not remain only on the pages of books. The kingdom will create its own constitution, administration, royal ceremonies, seals, money, emblems and traditions. At the same time, it will explore how medieval ideals, legal concepts and forms of government could meet modern values – taking history seriously, but not forgetting the appropriate sense of playfulness.
The Kingdom of Jerusalem is about bringing history to life in a slightly unusual way. It is a place for learning, creativity and, in a good way, big ideas. A kingdom is not built in a day, but every law, seal, coin, and event brings it a little closer to reality.

We, Thomas, King of Jerusalem, by this Proclamation desire to make known to all present and future members, friends, and followers of Our Realm the ideals upon which the Kingdom of Jerusalem is built and towards which its activities shall strive.
